A day in the life
The Property Coordinator (or Real Estate & Customer Experience Coordinator) supports the operational performance and customer experience of a portfolio of logistics and industrial assets. This role partners closely with the Real Estate & Customer Experience Manager and broader asset team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, accurate administration, and responsive customer support. Working in a fast-paced environment, the Coordinator helps maintain high service standards, supports financial and operational tracking, and contributes to tenant satisfaction and asset performance. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating across teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Real Estate & Customer Experience team to ensure efficient portfolio management.
  • Support customer communications by responding to inquiries, preparing correspondence, and maintaining positive tenant relationships.
  • Maintain accurate tenant files, property records, and documentation including leases, amendments, and notices.
  • Support financial processes including tracking rent collections, monitoring payments, assisting with service charge reconciliations, and maintaining customer financial data.
  • Coordinate property operations activities such as move-ins, move-outs, property showings, and vendor bidding processes.
  • Support vendor and maintenance contract administration, including tracking invoices, payments, and follow-ups.
  • Assist in preparing reports (e.g., occupancy, financial summaries) and leveraging systems (e.g., Yardi, Salesforce) to maintain data accuracy and generate insights.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in property management, real estate, or an administrative support role.
  • Experience supporting customer service or tenant-facing activities in a professional environment.
  • Experience preparing and managing real estate documentation (leases, amendments, notices).
  • Experience supporting financial tracking processes such as rent collection or basic accounting activities.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience using property management or CRM systems.
  • Fluency in French.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting industrial or logistics real estate portfolios.
  • Experience coordinating vendors and maintenance-related activities.
  • Experience supporting budgeting processes or service charge reconciliations.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.
