The coordinator is responsible for coordinating, leading and oversight of facility repairs and maintenance. They would also maintain customer relationships, support construction/renovation projects and vendor relationships and building access. The coordinator will also secure competitive pricing for services, arrange for contracted service and repair and assist maintenance technicians in obtaining materials and parts.
Responsibilities And Duties:

Assist with the daily and future planned work assignments for the departments associates. Provide timely notification of all planned service work to the care site taking into consideration the impact to normal operations. Assist with the acquisition of the materials and equipment to perform the work. Provide timely communication as needed before, during and after the service has been performed to ensure affected department or work areas needs have been met.

Assists with both normal and emergency services by outsourced vendors. Provide the scheduling and communication for this work in collaboration with the requesting Facilities associate and the representative of the care site to avoid unnecessary interruptions. Testing required by law e.g. fire alarm testing will be managed in the same manner. Regular follow up and inspections will be performed to verify the effectiveness of the contracted services.

Assist as needed with the ordering of materials, services and equipment on a normal basis ensuring all paperwork and accounting is in order.

Assist as needed with the creation of annual budgets for Operating Expense and capital infrastructure for both the real estate department and the individual care sites.

Two-year degree or equivalent combination of and Experience. Thorough technical skills in assigned areas. Broad knowledge of maintaining commercial real estate. Proficient with basic computer applications such as Power Point, MS Office and MS Outlook 2+ yrs. Experience in commercial property management, skilled trades or construction.
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
Associates or bachelor's degree. Thorough technical skills, including knowledge of applicable regulatory codes and standards as well as safety requirements. Broad knowledge of Hospital policies and procedures is a plus. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is strongly desired and. Exposure to HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, normal and emergency electrical distribution systems. 5+ yrs. experience in commercial property management, skilled trades or construction.
