CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  1. New employees of the Department of Military Affairs will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  2. New employees of the Department of Military Affairs are required to participate in a direct deposit/electronic transfer program.
  3. The Department of Military Affairs is paid on a monthly basis.
  4. As a CANDIDATE, you may be required to provide documentation (i.e., High School Diploma or Equivalency, College Transcripts, ETC.) to verify meeting these Minimum Qualifications.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • A High School Diploma AND
  • Four (4) years of professional, full-time-equivalent professional experience in property management or related field.
  • Education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enters, maintains, and removes all tangible and real property (State and Cooperative Agreement) records in the system of record (e.g. FLAIR/PALM)

• Tracks and monitors all property over $5K in value, as well as under $5K (Deemed by State Quartermaster) in system of record, as well as Master Excel Spreadsheet/manual tracking of date of issuing property out, inventory annually, and transfers between Directorates and returning property.

• Issues tags and tag numbers to each piece of property along with filling out proper documentation (FNG Form 4 and FNG Form 4A)

• Coordinates with Directorates and Armory Managers in the transfer of property or the removal/disposition of surplus equipment. (Tracking and submittal to property board for approval).

• Donates surplus property or equipment no longer needed to local agencies or non-profit organizations.

• Process the annual depreciation report.

• Reviews all Purchase Orders between Armories, Camp Blanding and St. Augustine locations.

• Makes corrections to purchase orders and ensures correct codes are being entered into MyFloridaMarket

• Request proper paperwork and information concerning Purchase Orders and Property between SQM Purchasing, Finance and Accounting, CFMO, Directorates and Armory Managers

• Prints inventory reports to distribute between four positions and oversee to completion. Enters inventory dates for each tag number for all armories.
