About you

  • Solid background in property claims (commercial or domestic)

  • Experience managing claims end-to-end within an insurance business, including assessment, decision-making and settlement (not just lodgement or support)

  • Ready to step up into commercial claims if coming from domestic

  • Confident handling complexity, making decisions, and negotiating outcomes

  • Strong communicator with a customer focus and commercial awareness

  • Self-sufficient, organised, and comfortable working autonomously

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial property claims end-to-end

  • Act as the key contact for customers and stakeholders

  • Make indemnity decisions and manage claim strategies

  • Work with repairers and service providers to progress claims

  • Review reserves and drive claim outcomes

  • Manage complaints calmly and fairly

  • Support team members and contribute to team performance
