Property Administrative Assistant (3 month Temp)About the jobMajor retail real estate ownership and management company is hiring a Property/Operations Administrative Assistant to backfill an urgent, open seat at one of Brooklyn's largest shopping centers. You'll be the front-line support for Property Management and Operations — owning the front desk and phones, tracking tenant and vendor compliance data, and keeping insurance and financial reconciliation processes current. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor admin seat on a small, close-knit onsite team: you're expected to ramp up fast, work independently once you understand the protocols, and take ownership of a backlog that needs attention now.Term: Contract (3 months), strong potential for extension or conversion to permanent

Location: Brooklyn, NY, USA (Onsite, 5 days/week — no remote/hybrid)

Compensation: $25-$30/hourDesired Qualifications:1-3 years in administrative roles, with real comfort ramping up quickly in a new environmentGenuine Excel proficiency — can build and maintain tracking systems from scratch, not just work inside existing templatesHas personally handled front-desk or reception responsibilities, not just back-office admin — comfortable with tenants, vendors, and visitors face-to-face and on the phoneWilling and able to learn several new proprietary software systems quickly, with full training providedHolds an active Notary Public commission, or is willing to obtain one within the first 30-60 daysComfortable operating independently and taking initiative, while learning and following established company protocols firstLocal to the Brooklyn area, able to start immediately and commit to full onsite availabilityThis is a contract position placed through an employer-of-record partner.
