This position is involved in all aspects of the property management process and will be expected to provide expertise in the acquisition, receipt, utilization, inventory, transfer, and disposal of government, commercial and company owned property and materials. The Property Administrator will be required to support property management tasks associated with analyzing, researching, and documenting property to ensure authority and accountability legitimacy. This individual will be required to review the contract terms and determine appropriate and approved actions based on the contract details and appropriate FAR provisions.
The Property Administrator will utilize various databases to capture transactions that are pertinent to maintaining audit trails, and to ensuring financial transactions are complete and correct. This individual will be required to maintain functional records in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. This individual will cooperate with internal and external customers to research and develop solutions to a variety of property concerns, utilizing the FAR, DFAR, and other industry standards.
The Property Administrator will be responsible to support and participate in the Contractor Self-Assessment, CSA, PMSA requirement and the assurance of proper accountability for property at the Indianapolis site. This individual will develop the audit procedure, reporting, and will be responsible for ensuring completion of the proposed outcomes/resolutions for any identified issues. To this end, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Property and Inventory Management System and will be accountable for property throughout the equipment and material life cycle.
This individual will contribute to the completion of the organizations projects and goals by developing, producing, and maintaining inventory management audit, exception and reconciliation documentation in order to validate material process controls. Will be required to interact frequently with internal and external customers to resolve issues by understanding and applying knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations as well as industry leading practices, and company policies and procedures.
