& Duties

Under general supervision, responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and analysis for our portfolio of multiple properties. Responsibilities include

• Preparation of month-end closing entries
• Funding requests
• Detailed general ledger maintenance
• Monthly expense accruals
• Balance sheet review and analysis
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with variance analysis
• Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting support
• Direct interface with internal/external management

Position reports to the Facility Director.

Skills, Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of previous accounting experience.
• Must be familiar with PC applications such as MS-Excel ad MS-Word.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems.

Essential Job Duties:

• Prepare and review income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements and various other accounting reports.Make corrections as necessary.
• Audit financial reports and records, making studies or recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets, revenue and expenditures.Make corrections as necessary.
• Conduct the primary accounting review of various financial statements and initiate any corrections.
• Oversee the analysis and reconciliation of the general ledger reports.Close ledgers and generate monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Obtain revenue and assets acquisition information then review, consolidate and summarize it for reporting purposes.
• Work with budget preparation up to and including direct support.
• Coordinate accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions.
• Perform general administrative functions when needed, including answering phones, Help Desk, and inputting work orders.

Salary Range Language

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
