As a Propane Driver, you will safely deliver bulk propane to customer sites efficiently following all company and mandated protocols. May assist in repairs and with install teams. May be required to test propane systems to check for leaks. This position is 1st shift Monday - Friday.

Essential Responsibilities

• Make delivery of bulk propane products to customer sites in compliance with state and federal regulations and all Company operational and safety policies and procedures
• Maintain truck and delivery logs in compliance with state and federal regulations; conduct required pre-and post-trip inspections
• Communicate customer needs and inquiries to appropriate departments for follow up
• Performs other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested

Requirements

• CDL class A or B w/clean driving record. Hazmat, tanker endorsements required
• Current DOT medical card
• Must meet all DOT requirements including road test, physical, and drug screen

Education and Experience:

• 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Past fuel/oil delivery experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and be familiar with the local area
• Possess basic math skills, organizational skills, and be a team player

Physical Requirements:

• Walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, and climb, as required, in order to perform required vehicle inspections
• May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• May be required to be exposed to extreme weather conditions (snow, ice, heat, winds)
• Occasionally climb ladders
• Sit for extended periods of time in a truck and be able to drive, for as many as 11 hours while transporting propane and other industry products.
