As a PoC Pioneer, in our Maersk China office you are part of our innovation team and responsible for managing the success of internal software products/solutions implementations, new business models testing and external ecosystem partnerships for experiment with our China team. Managing the innovation pipeline includes collaborating with idea contributors in our business (or external), shaping expectations and helping them to conceptualize their ideas. The role includes leading projects to rapidly test the new business initiatives in a limited business scope and to be able to evaluate feasibility of ideas right away, to analyze the potential value and to quickly show first results as a basis for decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market intelligence into both Tech/Digital industry and logistic vertical, so can deeply understand the business needs and provide creative solutions.

- Align with stakeholders on the key resources needed, and kickoff the experiment mode (Proof of Concept) quickly.

- Manage the stakeholders from both internal and external.

- Independently lead the PoC, by overcoming the obstacles with entrepreneurial mindset.

- Summarize the PoC result and provide the feasibility report to decision makers, if we should continue/expand/stop/invest.

- Smoothly handover to business and materialize the concept been proven, ready to take next PoC.

- Challenge the “way of working” and “solution” all along the way.

Who we are looking for:

- Entrepreneur Mindset

- At least 3-year experience in Logistics Industry, with solid understanding of how shipping/logistics works.

- Your ability to easily grasp new ideas and to quickly structure them helps you in the discussions with key stakeholders.

- You can learn fast about the underlying business problems and you can quickly filter the most important aspects to consider.

- You will comfortable with frequently switching between different tasks and to deal with different things at the same time. With your very good communication skills it is easy for you to connect with experts within Maersk and to communicate any decision we made in an appropriate and understandable manner.

- Your inclusive approach to working with others helps establishing good relationships to business units within Maersk and to partners outside of Maersk.

- GCA: ALT + GCA all functions

- External: Digital Giants, Digital Startups, Incubations, Venture Capitals, Industry Pioneers on innovations.
