About the Opportunity

We are seeking two motivated and organised Promotions Coordinators to join the Metcash Promotions Team, on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract and a 14 Month Fixed‑Term contract.

In this role, you’ll help bring our catalogues and promotional programs together, ensuring everything is accurate, on time, and aligned to channel plans and business targets. You’ll work closely with the Promotions Versions Manager and wider team to support promotional sales growth and deliver programs that meet key KPIs for our retailers, suppliers, shoppers, and the Food Group.

In this Role

  • Perform key promotional administration tasks including catalogue checks, pricing, stock availability, allocations and responding to queries
  • Manage multiple media files and promotional versions through to completion
  • Collaborate with National Trading, State Promotions, Channel Teams and Marketing to ensure smooth delivery of promotions
  • Work with stakeholders to improve promotional performance across retail and wholesale sales and GP$, support various promotional mechanics (LPED, Non‑Advertised, Bonus Deals and Catalogue activity), and ensure promotional guardrails are followed across channels
  • Support the broader Promotions team with shared tasks as needed
  • Play an active role in the execution of promotional strategies and initiatives

You’re Likely a Match If

  • Experience managing promotional and pricing administration, including catalogue and print production workflows
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach that supports national and state teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar sales or promotions role within FMCG
  • Good understanding of the Independent Retailer network and shopper behaviour
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, cloud‑based applications and SharePoint
