Job Description

At Alstom, we build what millions depend on daily - rail transportation systems that can't afford to fail. We're more than 85,000 people worldwide creating the industry's most diverse portfolio: high-speed trains, metros, trams, maintenance services and integrated systems.

More Than a Job: A Mission

We seek a passionate leader to drive the testing and commissioning of advanced rail solutions, collaborating with dedicated teams to deliver seamless, safe, and reliable transportation. As a senior manager, you will own complex projects, ensuring every milestone shapes the legacy of urban mobility.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Lead scalable test and commissioning strategies for large rail projects, ensuring robust system integration.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration between engineering, operations, and client stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Guarantee reliability through rigorous validation, troubleshooting, and risk mitigation across all phases.
  • Champion innovation by implementing new testing methodologies and digital tools to optimize performance.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within teams, building technical excellence and best practices.
You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical, or related field; master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in rail systems testing, commissioning, or project management.
  • Expertise in rail signaling, system integration, and commissioning protocols; proficiency with industry-standard tools and software.
  • Deep understanding of safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance in transportation projects.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills; proven ability to lead diverse teams and drive results.

How Success Is Measured

  • On-time delivery of commissioning milestones aligned with strategic project goals.
  • Effective collaboration and leadership across multidisciplinary teams and client interfaces.
  • Reduction in defects, rapid troubleshooting, and increased operational efficiency.

Alstom, A Great Place to Grow

  • Work with cutting-edge rail technology and contribute to Alstom’s strategic vision for sustainable mobility.
  • Make a global impact from Seattle, connecting communities and shaping urban transportation.
  • Advance your career through continuous learning, leadership development, and exposure to international projects.
  • Salary Range: 125,000 - 145,000
Here, progress isn't always easy but the impact is real. Because the scale is massive, the tasks are complex when the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects that feeling stays with you. And the legacy lasts.
