How you'll make an impact:

  • Release Request for Quotation to suppliers. Evaluate offers and negotiate with suppliers considering the critical conditions of the client’s contract.

  • Ensure sourcing from qualified suppliers and manage supplier relationship.

  • Coordinate Purchase Orders creation in SAP based on signed subcontract after clarifying project requirements with Project Management and Engineering.

  • Procure to Pay Process responsibility for project material from order creation until invoice resolution.

  • Creation of project specific sourcing agreements.

  • Ensure cost reduction targets are met and timely reported in compliance to both group based targets as well as project specific targets

  • Collaborate in Continuous Improvement projects and support R&D activities.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, tendering, sales support, or project-related supply chain activities within industrial or engineering environments.

  • Ideally you have a technical background in the field of power electronics or power quality applications and completed an additional qualification in Supply Chain Management.

  • Strength in commercial and legal aspects of procurement & Skilled communicator and negotiator who can interface with numerous external and internal parties at different levels in an international project environmental.

  • Experience in the use of SAP 4/Hana.

  • Fluent in English and German is a big plus.
