The DPE role has a specific focus on scale-up and reuse through cross-product platform thinking and discipline-wide consistency, complementing deep ownership within individual Electrical solutions.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Oversee the lifecycle of Discipline Solutions and internal Electrical Engineering tools, ensuring version control, updates, and business continuity, with an emphasis on reuse and scalability across products and applications.

  • Maintaining and contribute to the development of Electrical Engineering Solutions and ensure documentation, including user guides and technical references, is current, accessible, and complete, with a focus on standardization of building blocks, tools, and processes for reuse.

  • Promoting disruptive innovations including leveraging automation to streamline Electrical Engineering processes, reduce engineering hours, and enhance competitiveness, particularly in scale-up and high-volume scenarios.

  • Collaborating with other experts to modularize methods and develop replicable tools that scale across projects, ensuring platform consistency and reuse between products such as Shunt and Series applications (Statcom, Series compensation).

  • Monitoring Electrical Engineering performance in tenders, projects and coordinate feedback-driven improvements across teams, identifying systemic patterns and opportunities that strengthen the shared base solutions.

  • Aligning with other disciplines and units to maximize solutions and ensure cross-product compatibility and governed deviations that feed learning back to the base.

  • Tracking updates in design tools, engage with industry forums, and build networks to support discipline-wide scale-up readiness and reuse.

  • Provide guidance in tenders and projects and ensure knowledge transfer across global teams, with focus on consistent application of the Electrical base solutions rather than local adaptations.

  • Collaborating and coordinate with the technical area responsible and Subject matter experts to drive continuous improvement and adoption of reliable, product-based solutions.

  • Collaborating with product management to establish and sustain the product lifecycle management system (PLM).

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
