About the Role

Are you someone with strong commercial knowledge, excellent client‑facing and customer management skills, and proven financial acumen? We are looking for a Project Surveyor who can confidently manage commercial risk, support high‑value sustainable projects, and build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Surveyor, you will:

  • Manage cost and contractual elements of decarbonisation projects, ensuring financial and environmental targets are achieved
  • Carry out detailed cost analysis, forecasting and budget management
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, clients and contractors to support effective project delivery
  • Monitor budgets, manage risks and produce regular performance and financial reports
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities that support decarbonisation objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring project expectations are met and exceeded

Qualifications & Skills

Essential

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
  • Strong cost management and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness

Desirable

  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proactive and solutions‑focused mindset, passionate about improving industry standards
  • Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS or similar)
  • Experience working on sustainability‑focused or decarbonisation projects
