About the Role: The Contract Administrator will support the project management team within our Commercial Drilling department. This role is responsible for managing contract documentation, supporting project managers through the contract lifecycle and helping ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, project specifications, and invoicing. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, contract/project management coordination experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced services environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer approved contracts, subcontracts, amendments, change orders, and other related project documentation
- Track contract status, key milestones, change orders, extensions of time, collections, and proper management of retainage
- Coordinate with project managers, operations teams, legal contacts and clients to support contract execution and compliance, as required
- Maintain accurate contract files and ensure all documentation is complete and up to date, on approved servers
- Assist with bid packages, proposals and customer agreements as needed
- Monitor contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks or compliance issues
- Ensure all costs are coded properly
- Assist in setting up WIP schedules with awarded contract estimates
- Support internal stakeholders with contract interpretation and documentation requirements
- Help facilitate communication regarding contract changes, project updates and customer obligations
- Ensure contract administration processes align with company policies and project requirements
- Generate reports and provide administrative support related to ongoing commercial drilling projects
Position Requirements:
- Successfully pass a background check, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy
- Valid U.S. Driver's License required
- Successfully pass pre-employment drug test and physical, depending on position
- Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9 and E-Verify). The Company participates in E-Verify and will submit information from your completed Form I-9 to E-Verify to confirm your employment eligibility

Education and/or
Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
- 3+ years of experience in contract administration, project coordination or construction administration
- Experience supporting contracts in construction, drilling, industrial services, engineering or other related field preferred
- Strong understanding of contract documents, change orders and project support processes, billing, collections, and job costing tracking
Language Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to understand, apply and interpret legal/conceptual concepts such as contracts, laws, and GAAP principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer Skills:
- Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word-processing, spreadsheet, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project Management

- Ability to establish relationships, build trust, manage conflict and influence others
- Excellent attention to detail, organization and time management skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
Physical Demands:
- Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
- Sedentary physical daily activities of an administrative nature
- Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times a day
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials
