Project Support Officer

  • Join Liquor and Gaming NSW, we're responsible for regulating liquor, wagering, gaming, and registered clubs in NSW  
  • This is a Clerk Grade 5/6 role with a salary range of $102,936- $113579  per annum plus superannuation 
  • Ongoing role based in Sydney, NSW - hybrid working arrangements may be available within business operational needs 

About Liquor & Gaming NSW

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Support Officer to join our team and help deliver key strategic projects. In this role, you'll provide project coordination and administrative support, helping ensure projects stay on track, meet deadlines and achieve their intended outcomes.

You'll work closely with project teams and stakeholders, assist with project planning and reporting, coordinate meetings, prepare project documentation, and contribute to research and analysis that supports informed decision-making.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, can manage competing priorities, and takes pride in delivering high-quality support in a fast-paced environment.

About You

You are an organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve shared goals. You can juggle multiple tasks, manage competing deadlines and remain focused on delivering quality outcomes.

You bring strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills and are comfortable building positive working relationships with a range of people. You can exercise sound judgement and professionalism when dealing with sensitive matters and diverse stakeholders.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience providing project, administrative or coordination support.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to research, analyse information and prepare clear documentation.
  • A collaborative approach and a willingness to support team success.
  • Confidence using a range of business systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Most importantly, you are someone who is motivated, reliable and keen to contribute to projects that deliver meaningful outcomes for the community.

Experience providing project, coordination, administrative or reporting support in a government or corporate environment will be highly regarded
