Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Project Support Officer, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay £18.35 - £24.06 per hour

The Project Support Officer will support the implementation and delivery of a range of digital projects within 24/7 Services. The role is focused on ensuring that new IT systems, service improvements, and digital transformation initiatives deliver the strategic objectives of both the Directorate and the Council.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and delivery of digital transformation and service improvement projects.
  • Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and coordinate project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Assist in identifying key success criteria and support cultural, procedural, and system changes arising from project work.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement and involvement in service planning and delivery.
  • Evaluate service issues and challenges, developing and implementing solutions that promote best practice.
  • Provide specialist support and knowledge relating to policy, process development, and service delivery.

Essentials

  • Experience supporting projects, service improvement initiatives, or digital transformation programmes.
  • Experience analysing performance data and producing reports.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and delivering change initiatives.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.

  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
