The Project Superintendent I is responsible for collaborative planning and organization of assigned specific area(s) and activity(s) of a construction project to ensure it is finished in a quality manner, on schedule, and within budget in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s Core Values.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline is preferred. Additional construction related courses from a vocational or technical nature preferred.
Experience Five years’ construction related experience with experience supervising construction teams and projects required. Experience as a Holland Site Superintendent may be considered in lieu of some industry experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Attendance This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs. Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required.
Working Environment: This position takes place in a construction environment that involves hazardous work conditions requiring protective equipment and training that conforms to OSHA and applicable State Agency regulations. Some physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, and noise may occur.
