In this role, you'll:


Work as part of a dedicated team delivering complex rail infrastructure projects that support organisational objectives. You will manage and coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of projects that make a positive impact on the diverse people of NSW.


Your focus will be on the maintenance of Rail infrastructure including the supervision of project engineers. You will lead planning, stakeholder engagement, and risk management and will ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.


You will drive efficiencies and innovative solutions in a fast-moving environment, navigating challenges and building strong relationships across internal teams, external stakeholders, and government agencies.


Your project management expertise, formed across rail infrastructure maintenance will enable you to overcome complex challenges and deliver successful outcomes


This is a Hybrid role with five days a month to be spent at Newcastle office and a further five days to be spent at either the Newcastle office, or another TfNSW location.


This role is initially offered as a full-time, temporary-fixed term opportunity until 31/3/27.

About you


You’re recognised for your ability to communicate effectively, influence and negotiate; you’re skilled at problem-solving and deliver results. Experience in project planning, stakeholder engagement, and governance will set you up for success.


Demonstrated experience in the management of complex rail infrastructure maintenance projects and the provision of project support services will be essential to your success.


Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience in rail infrastructure maintenance
