Welcome to our Operational Insights team
You will be part of a cross-disciplinary team, which is a key driver to boost Danish Crown’s operational performance and future-proof the supply chain’s cost competitiveness. The team today consists of 3 dedicated specialists reporting to the head of Support Functions & Processed Production with 20 employees.
Run efficient projects and ensure permanent change
In Danish Crown we are in the process of establishing the use of an OEE system (Overall Equipment Efficiency) to increase capacity, reduce costs, improve quality, and increase efficiency of our production lines.
The system gathers all information and data related to machines and facilities, enabling us to make data driven decisions, spot opportunities and inefficiency, and have a common language in Danish Crown. The process includes but is not limited to implementation of equipment, establishing Governance, delivering BI Dashboard solutions and securing validity of data.
In close cooperation with the team your overall responsibility is to implement and maintain Factbird cross our production sites, analyze data and transform insights into concrete action points that can be used at our sites. Concretely, your tasks will be to:
Your primary workplace will be our head office in Randers but most of the time you will be working at our sites nationally as well as internationally with an estimate of 40 - 60 travel days with overnight stay a year. A company car is included in the position.
Adaptable and data driven specialist with great stakeholder management skills
There are numerous entries to this position. You could have several years of experience from a production company working with supply chain and project optimization. You could also hold a relevant master’s degree combined with some years of experience from a production company and great passion for data driven decisions and a desire to further expand your understanding of the complexity of supply chain.
Our production sites are run by experienced and dedicated colleagues with huge insight into daily operations. To succeed in the job, it is therefore crucial that you possess solid stakeholder management skills and build good relationships based on mutual respect and trust.
The ability to challenge status quo in a respectful way and translate your data-based analyses into understandable and clear recommendations are also important success criterions in the position.
Finally, you are used to navigating in an international environment, and you are proficient in English orally and in writing. Other languages such as German and Polish are an advantage but not required.
