Job Description

At VELUX, we are committed to creating healthy indoor environments through daylight and fresh air. We are looking for a Project Specialist in our office in Hørsholm or Budapest to help strengthen our engagement with architects, building designers and other key professionals across our markets. In this role, you will drive strategic projects and initiatives that help us better understand, inspire and support the building design community. You will work across functions and markets, turning ideas into action, aligning stakeholders and developing compelling recommendations for decision-makers. The role combines building industry knowledge with strong project leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate strategic B2B engagement projects from concept to implementation.

  • Identify opportunities and drive initiatives that strengthen our relationship with architects and building designers and increase preference for VELUX solutions.

  • Develop business cases, recommendations, and strategic proposals based on data, insights, and market input.

  • Collaborate with regional and local teams to ensure initiatives are relevant, scalable, and impactful.

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and facilitate cross-functional alignment, workshops, and decision-making.

  • Create structure and momentum by translating complex topics into clear actions, ensuring execution and successful outcomes.

Your qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture, Building Design, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Several years of experience in the building industry or a closely related sector, with a solid understanding of design, specification, and construction processes.

  • Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, house builders, or other industry professionals in an international environment.

  • Proven project coordination skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive initiatives from idea to execution.

  • Skilled in developing business cases, strategic recommendations, and compelling presentations for senior stakeholders.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and fluent in English.
