Lycopodium is growing locally and globally as a result of a growing pipeline of awarded projects. To support our growth and the delivery of a signifcant base metals project in particular, we're recruiting for experienced Project Services Manager to join our growing team in Manila.

Reporting directly to the General Manager Commercial, the Project Services Manager will provide leadership and coordinate all aspects of Project Controls, including Project Accounting, Cost Estimating & Management, Site Procurement, Planning & Scheduling, Contract Administration and Materials Handling.

The tasks you'll perform

  • Develop and manage the Manila PSG, including Contracts, Procurement, and Project Controls functions with coordination and integration into Perth PSG.
  • Mentor and develop Manila PSG personnel through individual development programs and training.
  • Plan, schedule, and allocate resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Align staff composition and skills with project requirements and strategic plans.
  • Support business development activities by broadening Manila PSG functions.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager - Manila and Group Manager - PSG to ensure project deliverables and standards are met.
  • Implement and coordinate auditing of policies, procedures, and standards to improve service quality.
  • Suggest methods to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Travel as needed to meet business and operational requirements.

The expertise you'll bring

  • Circa 10-15 years’ experience in project services management, including cost management, contract administration, procurement & planning/scheduling: preferably in the mining industry.
  • Undergraduate qualification in commerce, business or engineering.
  • Previous international site-based experience, particularly in Africa, will be considered favourably.
  • Thorough and extensive knowledge of Project control principles, theories, concepts, tools, progressing and reporting.
  • Previous experience in the multi-location interfaces and foreign currency aspects of a global project.
  • Capacity to evaluate work practices, implement systems and suggest alternatives and refinements where necessary.
  • A focus on creating, fostering and managing people relationships for diverse, high performing teams.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, and work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple locations.
  • Exemplify and encourage the core values and ethos of the business.
