Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed construction schedules in line with project scope, contract requirements, and industry standards (e.g., CPM, Primavera P6, MS Project).

  • Track construction progress, analyze schedule performance, and prepare regular reports to assist project teams and stakeholders in timely decision-making.

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of construction schedules, including managing baseline versions and maintaining version control.

  • Coordinate all scheduling activities including task sequencing, milestone tracking, resource loading, and integration of subcontractor schedules.

  • Prepare and monitor scopes of work in collaboration with engineering, procurement, and site management teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.

  • Identify critical path activities, track float, and regularly review progress against schedule forecasts to detect deviations and recommend corrective actions.

  • Develop presentation materials and present scheduling updates and analysis for internal meetings, client updates, and senior management briefings.

  • Maintain and update the project risk register, ensuring timely identification and mitigation of schedule-related risks that may impact project duration, budget, or scope.

  • Conduct delay analysis, "what-if" scenarios, and impact assessments to support claims, change orders, and contingency planning.

  • Facilitate coordination between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to resolve schedule conflicts and monitor progress of key deliverables.

  • Ensure compliance with company QA/QC standards and document control procedures in all scheduling and reporting activities.

  • Perform additional scheduling and project controls duties as required to support the successful execution and delivery of construction projects.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's degree in civil engineer or related field of study.

· With at least 5 years’ experience in planning and scheduling for major infrastructure projects or related industries

· Proficient user of industry standard high-end project management and planning tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

· Able to work independently and as part of a team

· Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem solving abilities.

· Ability to work on tight deadlines.

· Willing to accept Project-base status

· Willing to be assigned in Manila
