The Project Quotations Coordinator will join a collaborative sales team focused on growing market share within Ontario’s electrical project and bid-specification market. This role plays a key part in the quotation process, supporting projects from initial RFQ review through to order handoff and project coordination.

Working closely with outside sales representatives, key vendor partners, and electrical contractors, the successful candidate will help ensure accurate, timely, and competitive quotations while supporting the overall success of project opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Review requests for quotation (RFQs) and project specifications to determine quotation feasibility in collaboration with management and product specialists.
  • Distribute quote requests to appropriate vendors and maintain communication throughout the quotation process.
  • Manage project documentation, including issuing updates, revisions, and addenda to vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain organized project folders within the company’s document management system.
  • Prepare, review, and submit quotations to customers and electrical contractors.
  • Follow up on outstanding quotations and maintain accurate project status records.
  • Coordinate project handoff upon receipt of customer orders by preparing documentation for the project coordination team.
  • Support outside sales representatives with project-related information and updates.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as required within the quotations team.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and cloud-based document management systems.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience in the electrical distribution, electrical contracting, or related industry is considered an asset.

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.


For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, EECOL also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
