Project & Program ManagerThis role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities:

  • Project planning: Creating a document that includes all relevant project information and prepares those involved
  • Program governance: Defining the controls for the program
  • Daily management: Managing the program from start to finish
  • Budgeting: Managing the program's budget
  • Risk management: Identifying and mitigating risks that could negatively impact the project's outcome
  • Resource management: Creating a plan to identify, assign, and allocate resources
  • Stakeholder management: Maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders and ensuring their satisfaction
  • Team leadership: Assembling and leading a team of skilled and experienced members, and suggesting workflows and internal processes
  • Reporting: Preparing reports for program directors, department heads, end users, and other stakeholders

Other responsibilities

Other responsibilities include coordinating projects, managing conflicts, and taking corrective measures. Program managers should have strong leadership and communication skills to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Leadership

Program managers need to inspire and motivate a team to work together towards a shared goal. This requires strong communication, active listening, empathy, and emotional intelligence.

  • Risk management

Program managers need to be able to analyze, prioritize, and minimize the amount of risk a program may cause. This skill helps them decide which goals and projects they can pursue safely, and which might add value even if they have some risk.

  • Resource management

Program managers need to know how to optimize resource allocation and usage to give teams what they need and maximize program ROIs. They should be familiar with the resources required for a specific program, such as equipment, services, and professional capabilities. They should also be able to budget and control expenditures against realized benefits.

  • Communication

Program managers need to be able to establish and maintain strong rapport with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure the program's alignment with business objectives.

  • Analytical skills

Program managers need to have superior analytical skills and be adept in tools and technology to aid project management methods

What You Need To Bring :

Qualification & Eligibility

  • 5+ years’ IT Industry experience with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Should have completed 18 months or more in the current role

Points to note before you apply:

  • Employees in Performance Improvement Plan are not eligible to apply.
  • Working from office 5 days in a week from Pune office Location
