As a Project Procurement Specialist, you will assist Project Procurement Managers, working with teams and standard build project procurement implementation plans. You will partner with commodity teams to assist with projects charter, benefits, and resource requirements and monitor active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues. You will report to the Lead Project Procurement Manager, Supply Chain Large Capex Projects and work at our Columbia, SC site. Hybrid Work Schedule.
Assist development of procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams.
Assist establishment of pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements
Assist preparation and coordination of the RFx Process and establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services:
Assist preparation of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
Assist RFx development and preparation, definition of commercial conditions
Assist solicitation of quotations and analyze contract proposals.
Assist evaluation all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements.
Assist development of relationships with important suppliers and partners while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.
Source using the Approved Supplier List Process for requirements.
Assist understanding of all the operational and commercial elements of suppliers, such as Financial Stability and Objectives, Global/Regional Presence, and Available Capacity.
Assist understanding of supplier capacity, capability and manufacturing processes compared to project technical requirements in collaboration with Supplier Performance Organization.
Assist compliance with regulatory requirement and Westinghouse's Procurement procedures
Assist Contract preparation and purchasing process
Help manage supply and supplier commitments after making a purchase order or contract, including managing change and contract. Understanding and analyzation of the entitlement and cost basis, leading negotiation, drafting agreements on changes and reflecting the change in the System (SAP)
Assist support of the Accounts Payables for resolution of discrepancies between the supplier invoices and the purchase orders.
Assist support of vendor down selects and vendor scoring
Assist post PO following such as milestone adherence to design complete, fabrication start, Factory Acceptance Testing and release of shipment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
No Supply Chain experience required but preferred.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $54,000 to $67,500 per year.
