Project Planning Intern

Alamos Gold is seeking an intern to support the Public Affairs function in assisting with development and tracking of project plans, and supporting various community relations initiatives. We are flexible with placement options including length and start of the placement dependent on your program requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing project plans, including timelines and resource allocation, and develop dynamic dashboards and KPIs
  • Coordinate meetings and facilitate effective communication among Public Affairs and Community Relations project team members
  • Prepare or file project documentation
  • Collect and collate data to track performance
  • Conduct research and assist in preparing written documents

What You Bring!

  • An interest in mining and government/politics
  • The successful candidate should be working towards a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong data analysis capabilities and knowledge of Power BI
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively between cross functional teams
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment
