Job Description

Metro rail projects are large-scale, multi-disciplinary, capital-intensive programs involving civil works, systems, rolling stock, utilities, land acquisition, and multiple contractors working in parallel. The role of a Project Controls & Coordination Expert is therefore essential to ensure that the project is delivered within time, cost, quality, and safety parameters.

  • Develop and maintain the Master Project Schedule (MPS) covering all project components—civil works, stations, depot, track, rolling stock, signaling, telecom, E&M, and system integration.
  • Perform critical path analysis (CPA), schedule impact studies, and time–impact analysis (TIA).
  • Identify root causes of delays—design changes, right-of-way issues, contractor inefficiencies, approvals, and interface constraints.
  • To review the Construction Schedule during tender, construction and commissioning stage.
  • To provide guidance in linking the Primavera and BIM models to provide advanced monitoring and control reporting.
  • To assist for the detailed design and construction work of tunnel, viaduct and depot.
  • To assist Client in assessment of the construction method considering the cost, domestic capacity and site conditions.
  • Monitor manpower, equipment, and material resource plans submitted by contractors.
  • Maintain documentation for audits, change management, approvals, and schedule revisions.

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering.
  • Post graduation degree in engineering/ management, preferred.
  • Candidate should have more than 20 years in metro and railway project only.
  • 15 years experience in project planning with rail/ metro.
  • 5 years overseas experience (outside home country) with PMC/IC/GC projects in Metro/ Rail projects
