At Hitachi Energy, we’re building the ES Regional Office (ESOPC) in Madrid as part of our Grid & Power Quality Solutions business in Europe (HBUEU). This role offers the opportunity to work in a technically strong environment, contributing to impactful projects while continuing to deepen your expertise in Project Planning and Controls.
As a Project Planner, you will be part of a regional team delivering power quality projects, taking ownership of planning, scheduling, and cost control activities across selected workstreams. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and senior planners to manage integrated schedules, monitor performance, and ensure projects are executed in line with internal standards and methodologies.
How you’ll make an impact
Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules and cost forecasts.
Monitor progress and critical paths across all project phases.
Identify deviations and communicate impacts to Project Managers.
Establish and manage baseline plans for cost performance measurement.
Support change management by assessing scope and schedule impacts.
Integrate procurement activities and material lead times into schedules.
Prepare progress reports, performance updates, and productivity data.
Contribute to project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your background
You bring around 5 years of relevant experience in Planning & Scheduling and Project Controls, ideally in engineering, EPC, or project-driven environments.
Solid knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6.
Strong skills in Excel and MS Office
Structured, organized, and able to manage priorities independently.
Collaborative, communicative, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English and Spanish Additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel when required
