We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Planner (Primavera P6) to support a major data centre construction project in Johor Bahru. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all project phases to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 covering design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning stages.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure all activities align with project objectives and milestones.
Monitor project progress, identify delays or risks, and recommend mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to consolidate timelines and resources into the master schedule.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports, including progress curves, dashboards, and time-impact analyses.
Participate in coordination meetings and provide schedule-based insights for management decision-making.
Ensure compliance with internal standards, client requirements, and data centre construction protocols.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning within the construction or infrastructure industry
Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
Must have completed at least one full-cycle data centre construction project, from design to commissioning.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path analysis, and resource management.
Excellent coordination and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple project schedules simultaneously.
Proficiency in English; Mandarin communication is an added advantage for regional collaboration.
