Step into a role where you’ll help shape the future of NSW’s property landscape through land acquisition and complex property transactions As a Project Officer within Strategic Advisory Services, you’ll support the delivery of advisory, development and transaction projects across government property assets and portfolios. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll contribute to projects that balance commercial outcomes with community, environmental and planning considerations—helping deliver meaningful outcomes for communities across NSW.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of land acquisition projects—from due diligence and strategy through to execution. You’ll analyse opportunities, coordinate inputs from technical specialists and contribute to the development of clear, evidence-based advice for senior stakeholders. This is a great role for someone looking to deepen their experience in property transactions and acquisitions, while working in a fast-paced environment with real scale and complexity.

What you will bring to the role

• Experience supporting land acquisition and property transaction projects, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight timeframes
• Strong analytical capability, including experience undertaking due diligence, research and evaluation to inform decision-making
• Ability to work across complex stakeholder environments, engaging with technical specialists and balancing diverse perspectives
• Demonstrated ability to identify risks and challenges early and contribute to practical, outcome-focused solutions
• Strong judgement and discretion when managing sensitive or high-profile matters, with the ability to prioritise your workload effectively
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise reports and explain complex information to a range of stakeholders
• A proactive, resilient approach with a commitment to continuous learning and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced project environment
• Experience supporting procurement activities and contract management, with an understanding of financial processes and budgets.

What is an essential requirement:

• Tertiary property qualifications and related experience will be highly regarded.
