The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is responsible for training, educating and representing psychiatrists in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The College is accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) to deliver specialist medical education and training, and professional development programs. About the role

Fixed-term to 29 February 2028 | Part-time (0.6 FTE) | Melbourne, CBD (Hybrid)

This role supports delivery of the Military and Veterans’ Psychiatry Training Program (MVPTP), funded by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. You’ll play a key role in improving access to psychiatrists with specialist expertise in military and veteran mental health, contributing to better outcomes for these communities.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinating delivery of key MVPTP projects and initiatives
• Tracking timelines, milestones and budgets to keep work on track
• Gathering and analysing data to support reporting and evaluation
• Preparing reports, briefings and updates for stakeholders and committees
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting meetings, including agendas, minutes and action tracking
• Assisting with budget tracking and administrative processes
• Identifying improvements to strengthen program delivery and outcomes

What you'll bring

• Experience in project coordination or program support
• Strong organisation skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels
• Proficiency with MS Office and digital systems
• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or valid Australian work rights
