KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct community engagement activities, including consultations, meetings, trainings, workshops, selection of user representatives, supervision of installations, and other community-based initiatives.
  • Support the receipt, inventory, and safekeeping of project equipment, including the identification of suitable storage facilities within communities, and other field logistics and procurement activities.
  • Coordinate logistical requirements related to the transport, distribution, and installation of Solar Home Systems (SHS).
  • Assist in the identification, assessment, design, and procurement of installation infrastructure and related project requirements.
  • Support the selection and onboarding of the local entrepreneur responsible for operating the Users Assistance Center (UAC), and provide ongoing technical and administrative support as needed.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with barangay and municipal local government units, community leaders, NGOs, electric cooperatives, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for project scaling through needs assessments, project conceptualization, planning, and proposal development.
  • Ensure project activities are implemented on time, with quality, and in accordance with approved work plans, while maintaining effective coordination with project partners and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the preparation of project proposals, reports, case studies, and communication materials.
  • Perform finance and administrative tasks, including the preparation of purchase requests, processing and liquidation of cash advances, and maintaining proper documentation and records.
  • Safeguard and responsibly manage project funds, equipment, assets, and other organizational resources.
  • Prepare activity reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • At least 4.5 years of professional experience in community development, community organizing, stakeholder management and sustainable development.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Engineering, Project Management, social sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong project implementation, monitoring, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in remote and field-based environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English, Tagalog, and Bisaya is an advantage.
  • Desirable: Background in energy supply technologies (solar) and WASH ( W ater, Sanitation, Hygiene) projects.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Leadership, initiative, and the ability to work in a team.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively through face-to-face and virtual engagement.
  • Willingness to travel to remote areas.
  • Knowledge of the political, social and cultural context of the area.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of the foundation.
