The Centre for Health, Culture, and Society (CHCS) at NTU CoHASS is a new interdisciplinary and cross-sector research hub working at the intersection of health, culture, and society. The Centre pursues research across five thematic strands, operates a taught Masters programme, runs an active programme of conferences, seminars, and workshops and maintains strong partnerships with major Singapore hospitals and arts organisations.
We are seeking a Project Officer to provide essential administrative, financial, and operational support to the Director and the Centre's research and teaching activities. This is a broad and varied role at the heart of a growing, dynamic research centre.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director and Centre staff.
Manage budgets and financial administration across all Centre projects and funding streams.
Support grant application preparation and post-award compliance.
Coordinate the Centre's full events programme, including conferences, seminars, and healthcare workshops.
Manage Centre communications, website, and records.
Liaise with NTU administrative offices and external partners on behalf of the Centre.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Prior experience in an administrative or project coordination role.
Experience in financial administration and budget tracking.
Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with grant management or university administrative systems is an advantage.
An interest in the Centre's interdisciplinary mission is desirable.
