The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), part of the College of Science at Nanyang Technological University, was established in 2002 with a mission to advance excellence in biological and biomedical sciences. Our research spans diverse and impactful areas including infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative disorders, telomere biology, and genome function. Join the laboratory of A/P Tan Suet Mien at SBS. We are seeking a Project Officer to contribute to a project focused on delineating the mechanisms by which kindlins regulate cellular processes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct mammalian cell culture experiments
Perform molecular and cellular biology techniques
Carry out protein expression and purification
Conduct microscopy and flow cytometry analyses
Perform bio-layer interferometry (BLI) assays
Assist with data analysis, documentation, and general laboratory activities
Job Requirements
BSc (Hons) in the field of Biological Sciences.
Possess good research laboratory experience. Experience with cell culture, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, and protein expression and purification.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment
At least one first-author publication in a reputable peer-reviewed journal
