About JiBe

• JiBe is a cloud based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Project Manager goal is to comply with JiBe company policies regulated by International Shipping and flag regulations and requirements to allow shipping companies to improve Productivity, Efficiency and Safety Standards, while reducing costs.

• JiBe ERP Strives for Streamlining of processes, Provide Competitive software packages to clients by creating pre-defined workflows that Optimize Organization ability to meet the ever-changing demand in Shipping. In such Scenario Project manager role plays an Important aspect for JiBe to meet the client expectations for Proper Project Management and Handling. Project Manager to adhere to the decisions of JIBe management and to ensure the clients are properly addressed to the requirements.

• Project officer to ensure that the software is represented well to clients at all times and ensure the growth aspect and utility of the software is always growing.

• Project Manager to adhere to Best Management Practices and principles in the shipping software industry and to approach or escalate issues in time to senior management where required to do so.

Job Responsibilities

• Must be fully involved in assigned IT Projects to Coordinate with teams as required and to complete the projects or tasks to the best of efforts. Must have a good command over spoken and written English communications.

• Understanding client requirements and communicating it to Project development teams as per company policies and procedure using tools provided.

• Defining proper ERP Implementation roles, tasks and responsibilities for internal team and updating the records in the internal company tools provided.

• Should be responsible to successfully initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control end to end process. Keep all the team members appraised in time. Any clients Change request properly discussed with Project Managers and Directors in time through communication channels.

• Well versed with Basic domain knowledge in order to understand business requirements and Functionality.

• Ability to perform Project Planning, Meeting Scheduling, manage tasks, manage meetings with clients, and coordinate project resources to meet objectives and timelines using inhouse software tools.

• Responsible to actively plan weekly meetings and reports, send to clients, actively participate in the clients Teams meeting to discuss usage reports, critical path items, pending tasks as per company formats and ensure it is fully understood. These meetings prevent a potential Legal claim in the future and hence meeting minutes must be recorded to highest standards. Any issues to be escalated to senior management immediately.

• Knowledge of one or more programming Language preferred, Knowledge of Architecture frameworks and design principles will be added advantage to support the projects.

• Responsible to investigate and Identify Bugs raised by clients to ensure the same is communicated to developers and senior management in a timely manner and a resolution is arrived so as to ensure clients satisfaction achieved.

• Responsible to prepare Module training material, help material and automated software training materials to highest standards by coordinating with relevant team. Published to users after senior management approval.

• Raise any new feature request from clients for new Module development to Senior management to ensure that the JiBe ERP remains competitive and performs to latest requirements.

• Handle client's communications in a constructive and effective manner to defend JiBe at all times.

• Ability to innovate, discuss ideas and problem solving is highly preferred without taking undue risks.

• To maintain Confidentiality of the clients, client's data, JiBe Policies and procedures, Software logics, plans, all details and codes from being shared to any party without proper approval from JiBe senior management.

• To Update Blue print Server data to latest data with team support before New Client Induction.

• To always comply with company requirements, be ready to travel and be transferred to on-site locations when required by company.

• To attend Meetings on time and dressed in a professional manner, maintain Professional ethics, etiquettes and courtesy at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (computer science),

• Previous Shipping Company work experience in the software department will be an added advantage.

• Strong experience in a Marine ERP product management role.

• Experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.

• Ability to draft product requirements documents (PRDs)

• Ability to draft development requirements documents and mock-ups.

• Ability to define UAT and test Scenarios for UAT compliances.

• English - proficient written and verbal.

Additional qualifications:
1. Maritime industry experience
2. Control of Devops, Zen desk, Wrike or other project management tools
3. Preparation of Lucid Chart.
