The Royal Australian and New Zealand College
of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is responsible for training, educating and
representing psychiatrists in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The College
is accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and the Medical Council
of New Zealand (MCNZ) to deliver specialist medical education and training, and
professional development programs. The College is committed to elevating
healthcare outcomes for Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and Māori
communities guided by its commitments to reconciliation and Te Tiriti o
Waitangi.

About the role

Full-time, fixed term
until June 2027 | Melbourne CBD (hybrid)

This role supports the delivery of a
nationally funded project focused on developing culturally safe resources to
support supervisors within psychiatry training.

Working closely with the Program Development
Manager, you will help plan, deliver and evaluate project outcomes, while
engaging a broad range of stakeholders across the College and external
environments.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the development and delivery of
    project outcomes aligned with agreed timelines and objectives
  • Undertake research, data gathering and
    analysis to inform project activities
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder
    relationships to support successful outcomes
  • Support committees and working groups,
    including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Prepare briefings, reports and presentations
    for internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress, timelines and
    deliverables, including evaluation of project outcomes
  • Support budget tracking and ensure sound
    financial management of project activities
  • Contribute to a collaborative team
    environment and uphold RANZCP values

What you'll bring

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or
    equivalent experience in project coordination, administration, education,
    healthcare or research
  • Strong organisational and planning skills,
    with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Well-developed written and verbal
    communication skills, including experience preparing reports or briefings
  • Experience working with stakeholders in
    multidisciplinary environments
  • Confidence using MS Office and database
    systems
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused
    approach

Desirable:

  • Experience in the mental health, education,
    membership or not-for-profit sector
