  • Temporary Full-time opportunity – until 30 June 2027

  • Role based in Lismore (Northern Rivers), with flexible/hybrid working environment.  

  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113,574 - $125,720 + super 

About the role

Make a tangible impact on Northern River’s community resilience! We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Officer to join our team, with a primary focus on supporting the Adaptation and Resilience Division.

In this dynamic role, you will provide critical project management support to ensure key initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

  •  Maintain comprehensive project documentation, and prepare high-quality reports and briefs aligned with program governance.

  • Coordinate working groups, committees, and consultations to facilitate seamless communication and information exchange among key stakeholders.

  • Source, collate, and analyse data to track project progress against milestones, identify emerging trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.

About You 

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in project coordination and support, ideally with experience in procurement, finance or budget management. You possess strong research and analytical skills, allowing you to translate data into clear, actionable briefs for leadership.

An exceptional communicator, you excel at managing diverse stakeholders and coordinating working groups to ensure seamless collaboration and project delivery.

Essential Requirements 

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent knowledge and experience in project management, communications, or engagement.

  • Based in Northern Rivers.

  • Experience in procurement, budget, or financial management will be highly regarded.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
