Job Description

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Deliver multiple projects of varying complexity and size
• Coordinate internal and remote software development teams
• Hold task owners accountable for specific deliverables and conduct project team meetings to review progress and take any necessary actions
• Facilitate scrum events, discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Keep track of sprint commitments and promote team ownership by ensuring each team delivers within their set timeline
• Ensure that requirements are comprehensive and thorough, include all the necessary information, and are ready for implementation
• Remove impediments to meet deadlines
• Collaborate closely with each project's team to provide a high-level estimation and create a release plan
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure dependencies are aligned
• Assist with internal and external communication channels to improve transparency, and provide information to the right stakeholders in the right levels of abstraction
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other cross-functional teams to manage the expectations of stakeholders by making sure the backlog is well defined, estimated, and prioritised
• Constantly review team metrics for a fast and efficient delivery
• Understand and follow the company’s processes
• Utilise project management methodologies and relevant tools to accomplish all the above

Main requirements:

• BSc/MSc in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience with project management software, analysis, and reporting methods
• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.)
• Strong organisational and critical thinking with analytical and problem-solving skills that can handle any issues that occur during a project’s life cycle
• A hands-on, professional, detail-oriented approach that strives for excellence  
• Strong written and verbal communication for coordinating with team members, stakeholders, and management
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills 
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to stay motivated and work effectively under pressure
• The ability to identify process deficiencies and suggest improvements based on knowledge and experience
• An understanding of the full software development cycle 

The following will be considered an advantage:

• PMP/Prince II and Agile/Scrum certifications
• Programming or professional technical experience
• FX industry experience
