Job Introduction
Frequentis USA Inc. is dedicated to creating a safer world. With over 75 years of experience, Frequentis understands controllers in safety critical situations encounter new challenges daily. Our mission is to develop and market highly reliable, optimized, custom-tailored, and user centric communication and information systems for mission critical solutions. As an industry leader in voice communication data information systems, we create a safer world through integration, digitalization, and automation while maintaining world class safety standards. We proudly serve many U.S. government agencies including the FAA, DoD, and NASA. Safety as our number one priority pushes us to constantly learn about the ever-changing needs in safety critical environments to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Tasks
· Develop, maintain, and control the program-level integrated master schedule and supporting schedules for individual Digital Tower site projects in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
· Lead the recurring schedule update process by working with functional leads to obtain and validate activities, progress, dependencies, resource inputs, actual dates, and forecasts.
· Maintain schedule baselines, calendars, activity logic, milestones, coding structures, and reporting conventions that provide clear visibility across the program and individual sites.
· Perform critical-path, float, variance, milestone, and schedule-trend analysis; identify emerging conflicts and communicate impacts, priorities, and recovery options.
· Integrate internal work, subcontractor commitments, customer activities, contractual deliverables, and external dependencies into coordinated, logic-driven schedules.
· Assume full project-management ownership of assigned site deployments, including planning, execution oversight, resource coordination, risk and issue management, action tracking, deliverable control, and customer communication.
· Interface directly with the FAA and other customers; lead or support status reviews, present project and schedule performance, manage actions, and coordinate required deliverables.
· Coordinate CDRL planning, development, review, and submission for assigned projects, ensuring inputs, approvals, and delivery dates remain aligned with contractual requirements.
· Prepare concise schedule and project-status inputs for internal reviews, customer meetings, monthly reporting, Program Management Reviews, and executive briefings.
· Support development and maintenance of project management plans, work breakdown structures, risk and issue registers, action and decision logs, milestone plans, and other program-control artifacts.
· Perform scenario and what-if analysis for new orders, overlapping deployments, changing priorities, resource constraints, and alternative execution strategies.
· Capture actual performance and lessons learned to improve estimating assumptions, schedule templates, and repeatable delivery practices.
· Develop dashboards and other concise management reporting using available reporting tools as needed.
Key Qualifications
· Five or more years of project management experience supporting complex technical, systems-integration, infrastructure, or deployment projects.
· Three to five or more years of hands-on integrated program scheduling experience using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
· Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining logic-driven, multi-project schedules with controlled baselines, calendars, dependencies, resources, milestones, and critical-path analysis.
· Experience independently managing projects through planning and execution, including risks, issues, actions, resources, contractual deliverables, stakeholder communication, and performance reporting.
· Ability to gather schedule inputs from functional leads, challenge incomplete or inconsistent information, and translate cross-functional commitments into an integrated and maintainable plan.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present project and schedule status directly to customers and senior stakeholders.
· Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
· 5+ years of project management experience on complex technical, systems-integration, infrastructure, or deployment projects.
· 3–5+ years of hands-on integrated program scheduling experience in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
· Can personally explain and demonstrate schedule logic, baselines, calendars, dependencies, resources, critical path, float, variance analysis, and recurring status updates.
· Has independently managed projects beyond schedule administration, including risks, issues, actions, resources, deliverables, customer communication, and performance reporting.
