JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager is the “person assigned by the performing organization to lead the team that is responsible for achieving the project objectives"

Working Location: Shanghai / Wuxi.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibility

• Lead the project and cross-functional project team to achieve defined project objectives, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with the TTM (Time-to-Market) process.
• Define the appropriate project category, project type, and project management approach in line with applicable process guidelines, selecting the most suitable methodology (e.g., Waterfall, Hybrid, or Agile) based on project complexity and requirements.
• Develop and maintain the project management plan based on the approved project charter, project objectives, and applicable standards, while incorporating lessons learned and best practices from previous projects.
• Drive project execution in close collaboration with the project team and relevant stakeholders, coordinating required resources and ensuring clear responsibilities, commitments, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply relevant Project Management Knowledge Areas and methods appropriately, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, resources, communication, and stakeholder management, while ensuring compliance with applicable processes, regulations, and governance requirements.
• Make timely project decisions within the scope of the approved project management plan, balancing project objectives, risks, resources, and stakeholder requirements.
• Identify and escalate decisions and issues beyond the project manager's authority to the Project Sponsor and/or Steering Committee, where applicable, providing clear recommendations and decision-making information.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION
• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• WORKING EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in project management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in leading cross-functional projects and working with international teams is an advantage.
• KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Solid project management competence in scope, schedule, cost, resources, quality, and risk management.
• Good understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to apply appropriate approaches based on project complexity.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong intercultural competence and experience working effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and team coordination skills.
• Ability to make decisions, resolve issues, and proactively manage project risks and dependencies.
• Strong ownership, result orientation, and ability to work effectively in a dynamic and complex project environment.
• LANGUAGE
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
• MOBILITY & TRAVEL
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for short-term business assignments, as required.
