We are looking for an experienced Functional Project Manager with strong expertise in US Healthcare to lead end-to-end functional project delivery across complex business and technology initiatives. The role requires a strong combination of project management, business analysis, stakeholder management, and healthcare domain knowledge.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into actionable project plans, managing cross-functional teams, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end functional project delivery across US Healthcare business and technology initiatives.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and dependencies.
• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Functional BRDs and related project documentation.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and actionable project deliverables.
• Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams across business, technology, product, operations, QA, and other stakeholder groups.
• Establish project governance, communication plans, status reporting, and review mechanisms.
• Identify, assess, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans and proactively escalate critical risks.
• Lead change management activities associated with business processes, systems, products, or operational changes.
• Assess change impacts and coordinate stakeholder communication, readiness, training, and adoption activities.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, project reviews, and decision-making sessions.
• Track project progress against scope, schedule, quality, and business objectives.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, defect resolution, implementation, and post-production activities.
• Ensure functional requirements remain aligned with business objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage competing priorities and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Prepare executive-level project updates, dashboards, status reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to resolve functional, operational, and delivery challenges.
• Ensure project documentation, decisions, action items, and change requests are accurately maintained.
• Drive continuous improvement in project processes, delivery practices, and stakeholder engagement.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 10+ years of experience in functional project management, business analysis, program delivery, or related roles.
• Strong experience managing functional projects in the US Healthcare domain.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and BRD preparation.
• Strong understanding of project planning, execution, governance, and delivery methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with risk management, issue resolution, dependency management, and mitigation planning.
• Strong experience in change management, stakeholder readiness, and organizational adoption.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technology functions.
• Strong understanding of US Healthcare processes, systems, workflows, and business environments.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong documentation, presentation, reporting, and project governance skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional deliverables.
• Proactive, structured, and outcome-oriented approach to project delivery.
• Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
