Position: Project Manager (WPP & BESS Development)

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

Work format: Full-time / Employment Agreement

We have a great career opportunity for a Project Manager in a leading international renewable energy company with a representative office in Kyiv.

Our Partner initiates, plans and builds wind and solar projects worldwide. The Company is an independent power producer (IPP) that executes large-scale international projects as a general contractor and takes over technical and commercial management as an asset manager. In addition, our Partner has a technological competence and develops AI solutions for renewable energies.

We are currently looking for a skilled specialist who will lead the development and delivery of assigned Company’s renewable energy projects, primarily Wind and BESS, from development through financial close and construction readiness.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end development of renewable energy projects, managing schedules, budgets, risks and key project milestones;
• Coordinate multidisciplinary workstreams including engineering, grid connection, permitting, land, environmental and social matters, procurement, legal and financing;
• Support commercial negotiations and structuring of key project agreements, including TSA, EPC, O&M, PPA, loan documentation and engineering services;
• Coordinate project preparation for Financial Close and support technical, legal, environmental and commercial due diligence;
• Manage communication with key stakeholders, including lenders, equity partners, authorities, grid operators, contractors, suppliers and advisers;
• Coordinate procurement and tendering of major project packages and support contractor selection;
• Monitor project risks, dependencies and critical issues and coordinate mitigation measures;
• Prepare project reports, presentations, budgets and decision materials for management, shareholders, lenders and investment partners;
• Support transition of projects from development into construction, ensuring key contractual, technical, permitting and financing requirements are in place.

Qualifications and professional experience:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or large-scale project development;
• Good understanding of renewable energy project development, permitting, grid connection, procurement and construction interfaces;
• Experience with project financing, lender due diligence and key project contracts is highly desirable;
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding with experience supporting negotiations of major project agreements;
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
