Project Manager- Water/ Wastewater

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Employment Type: Full-Time / Direct-Hire

We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of critical infrastructure projects supporting municipal and private clients. This role will oversee projects from concept through construction, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions that support public health, environmental compliance, and sustainable development. The position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with internal engineering teams to deliver fully integrated project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction
• Prepare and oversee engineering designs, technical reports, plans, and permitting documentation
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring successful project delivery
• Coordinate with internal teams including civil/site, structural, GIS, survey, and traffic
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including permitting and approvals
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet performance and delivery expectations
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 6+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, including project leadership
• Strong knowledge of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and treatment processes
• Experience working with municipal clients and regulatory agencies
• Proficiency with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
