Project Manager - Water | Christchurch

Join our Water team in Christchurch as a Project Manager and help deliver key multidisciplinary projects. This is an opportunity to bring together technical insight, commercial awareness and delivery-focused thinking in collaboration with local and national teams.

You will guide projects from planning through to delivery, keeping budgets, resources and quality on track. You’ll build trusted client and stakeholder relationships, coordinate project teams and sub-consultants and communicate project performance clearly.

Alongside project leadership, you will contribute to strong project management and quality practices across the Water sector, share knowledge with emerging Project Managers, and support technical work such as investigations, feasibility reporting, practical design and project documentation.

About you:

Ideally you’ll bring:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management or a related discipline
• At least six years’ professional experience in engineering, infrastructure or a related field
• Demonstrated experience delivering multidisciplinary projects across scope, programme, budget, risk and client relationships.
• Water-sector experience is preferred, while experience in professional services consultancy or infrastructure delivery would be valuable.
• A practical understanding of New Zealand contract forms, including NZS 3910, would be an advantage, as would project management accreditation or certification.
• A current, clean driver licence
