Introduction to the job
In the Global Warehousing department we are looking for a strong project lead who can help us transform the existing warehousing landscape into a warehouse solution fit for the future. Our warehouses support our factories in the production of the ASML machines and our customers in their chip production fabs by keeping parts and tools in warehouses close to them.
In total we have around 60 service and factory warehouses globally. The Global Warehousing team, is tasked to ensure the warehouses are ready to support our factories and customers in the most efficient way. This means that all facilities need to be fit for purpose, provide enough space, have sufficient skilled manpower that work according to a standard and cost effective way.
Role and responsibilities
As Project lead warehousing, you will be leading a project or project workstream on behalf of the Global Warehousing department. This could be supply chain projects or project where it will be your end responsibility to translate the business requirements into warehouse requirements, bring the projects successfully to completion and hand over the warehouse to the Operations team. Time, money and (internal) customer satisfaction will be your main drivers.
