About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our New Installations team in Victoria. You will manage lift installation projects from commencement through to handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to customer expectations.

Working closely with customers, builders, field teams and internal stakeholders, you will oversee project planning, commercial performance, site readiness and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage New Installation projects from commencement through to successful handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to customer expectations.
• Manage project forecasting, budgets, cash flow, variations and cost performance.
• Coordinate site, labour and material readiness and ensure installation works are effectively planned.
• Manage contract administration, project risks, documentation and variations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, builders, field teams and key stakeholders.
• Apply a strong understanding of EBAs, union engagement and industrial relations matters in day-to-day project and workforce management.
• Drive safety, quality and compliance throughout project delivery.
• Identify project risks early and take corrective action to achieve successful commercial and operational outcomes.

About You

You are a commercially minded Project Manager with strong construction experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and project challenges. You are confident working with field-based teams and understand the importance of positive employee and industrial relations.

What You'll Bring

• Diploma or degree in Construction, Engineering, Building, Business or a related discipline.
• Project management experience within the lift, construction, building services or similar industry.
• Strong project planning, forecasting, budgeting and financial management capability.
• Strong contract administration, customer and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of EBAs and experience working with EBA-covered workforces.
• Sound understanding of union engagement and industrial relations matters.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer outcomes.

Highly Regarded

• Lift industry and installation experience.
• Experience delivering projects within commercial construction environments.
• Knowledge of lift installation processes and associated works.
• Experience working with field-based and unionised workforces.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing project risks.
