Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned projects and product line initiatives to support business objectives, customer requirements, project milestones, and deliverables.
  • Serve as a primary project contact for assigned activities, coordinating communication between customers, suppliers, subcontractors, product line leadership, sales, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, HSE, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Support product line execution, coordination, and strategic initiatives related to current and future product offerings, including ESP systems and related artificial lift technologies where applicable.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, action registers, deliverable trackers, risk and issue logs, and project documentation; monitor progress and escalate concerns as appropriate.
  • Identify project risks, schedule constraints, cost concerns, documentation gaps, and operational issues; recommend practical solutions and support corrective actions.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting support, gross margin awareness, change impacts, and key project cost components.
  • Coordinate preparation, review, and submission of customer documents, project drawings, product documentation, catalog updates, reports, presentations, and other required deliverables.
  • Support development, review, and coordination of commercial agreements, proposals, change orders, internal approval packages, and related business documentation with management guidance as needed.
  • Track and coordinate new product trials, customer deployments, field feedback, lessons learned, and product line improvement actions.
  • Participate in customer, supplier, subcontractor, and internal project status meetings; provide clear updates on project status, risks, actions, open items, and required decisions.
  • Review project scope, schedules, documentation requirements, quality requirements, and commercial obligations to support successful execution.
  • Assist in resolving scope changes, claims, delays, commercial issues, and customer concerns in coordination with management and applicable functions.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to less experienced project management, product line, or administrative resources as assigned.
  • Contribute to workflow improvements, reporting tools, product line processes, documentation practices, and cross-functional communication improvements.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Typically, approximately 5 years of relevant experience in project management, project coordination, product line execution, operations, engineering, commercial operations, or related industry roles.
  • Experience within oil and gas, energy services, manufacturing, industrial equipment, artificial lift, ESP, or a similar technical product environment preferred.
  • ESP systems experience and/or artificial lift product knowledge preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating projects, managing project documentation, tracking schedules and deliverables, working with cross-functional teams, and communicating with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Equivalent combination of education, industry experience, technical knowledge, and demonstrated project management capability may be considered.
  • Role level may be aligned based on candidate background and experience, particularly as it relates to ESP systems, project management capability, and overall industry knowledge.

  • Working knowledge of project management processes, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, communication, stakeholder coordination, and change management.
  • Ability to quickly contribute to ongoing projects while also supporting product line initiatives and future business growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, workstreams, priorities, stakeholders, and deliverables with limited day-to-day supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to prepare project updates, presentations, summaries, commercial documentation, and customer-facing materials.
  • Ability to analyze project information from multiple sources, identify trends or issues, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Basic to intermediate business and commercial acumen, including ability to understand cost drivers, schedules, margins, contract requirements, and customer obligations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; experience with ERP, project management, scheduling, document control, or reporting systems preferred.
  • Ability to interpret project documentation, purchase orders, contracts, technical documents, drawings, product documentation, and customer specifications.
  • Ability to provide guidance or training to less experienced employees on assigned tasks, tools, processes, or project activities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle business, customer, commercial, and product information appropriately.
  • May require occasional travel to customer sites, supplier locations, field locations, manufacturing facilities, industry events, or other NOV locations.
  • Must comply with all NOV safety, quality, business conduct, and HSE requirements.
