Our client, a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team based in Newbridge, with a hybrid working element The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transport and infrastructure projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead complex civil projects within a well-established organisation.

To be successful in this role, the preferred candidate will possess strong leadership, commercial awareness, and a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across all phases of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of transport and infrastructure projects.
2. Manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
3. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
4. Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
5. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
7. Resolve technical and operational issues as they arise.
8. Support tendering and procurement processes where required.
9. Ensure successful project handover and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
2. 5+ years’ experience in project management within the civil engineering sector.
3. Proven track record in delivering transport or infrastructure projects.
4. Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
6. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
