What we do at Weir
We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. We help our customers extract the resources the world needs more efficiently and more sustainably. Our planet’s future depends on the transition to renewable energy, and that transition can only happen with the metals and minerals our customers deliver. So, we work side by side with mines across the globe to move less rock, use less energy, use water wisely, and create less waste. Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.
Make your impact
As the T&A Project Manager for North America (NAM), you will lead the implementation and successful delivery of Time & Attendance solutions across the region, ensuring project plans are effectively executed and key milestones are achieved.
This is a hands-on delivery leadership role, combining project governance with active involvement in project execution. Acting as the primary coordination point between business stakeholders, implementation partners, and program leadership, you will manage delivery activities, vendor performance, stakeholder engagement, and business readiness initiatives to ensure successful, compliant, and sustainable T&A deployments.
What you’ll do
- Project Planning & Governance: Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, governance frameworks, and documentation, ensuring alignment with global program objectives, regional business needs, and implementation partner methodologies.
- Project Delivery & Vendor Management: Lead end-to-end T&A implementations across North America, coordinating cross-functional teams, implementation partners, and technology vendors to deliver all project phases, from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, go-live, and transition to ongoing support.
- Risk, RAIDD & Readiness Management: Manage RAIDD governance, proactively identifying risks, issues, actions, decisions, and dependencies, while overseeing mitigation plans, stage-gate readiness assessments, operational preparedness, and go-live approvals across multiple countries and business units.
- Change Management & Adoption: Partner with change, communications, and training teams to drive business readiness, user adoption, process standardization, and successful implementation of future-state workforce management processes, balancing global standards with regional operational and compliance requirements.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide project reporting and executive communications, including status updates, milestone tracking, project health indicators, resource and budget impacts, governance materials, and escalation of critical issues, while building strong relationships with business and leadership stakeholders.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
